Matter of Time

Meeting somebody requires time. Co-workers, acquaintances, people we dislike, or those we don’t understand, all can be understood in the end. They all can become friends.

Sharing time together makes inner thoughts appear. The individual past experiences are revealed and the misunderstandings are trained and improved. Individuals can learn the way to talk to each other to produce effective communication. Things required for negotiations or collaborative environments. In consequence, the interpretation of the messages received is re-calibrated to avoid overrated words by the bias of personal perception.

In addition, time together in different contexts helps to learn about unexpected skills or understand mood variations. Situations that provide a deep understanding of the other and increase empathy and tolerance.

However, some people require more time than others. To meet them, to understand them. Once in a while, infinite time would be necessary. Thus, the time… and the will to invest that time…

Overall, it doesn’t matter the ideological differences or the trauma behind or even being enemies. We can become friends with anyone.

It is just a matter of time.
